North Beach bar patron beaten, robbed during car search

Thug, where’s my car?

A 37-year-old man who couldn’t remember where he parked in North Beach on Thursday was punched and robbed by a goon who offered to help in the search, cops said.

The victim was at a bar in the 500 block of Green Street. He met the suspect and told him that he couldn’t find his car, police said. The thug in sheep’s clothing offered his help.

After the vehicle was found around 1:40 a.m., the suspect demanded payment for his services, cops said. He then punched the victim in the head and stole his wallet, which contained cash, a credit card and ID.

The suspect, described as a man in his 40s, fled in a 90s-model, dark blue Mercedes, police said.

The victim’s injuries were minor and no arrest has been made.
