Noe Valley temporary plaza simply wasn’t meant to be 

Even though he apologized for saying Pavement to Parks probably wouldn’t close an intersection to build a temporary plaza in Noe Valley, Supervisor Bevan Dufty was right: it’s not going to happen.

After months of arguing about whether it’s better to close it or keep it open to traffic, Project Manager Andres Power wrote a letter to residents saying the issue caused too much fuss and he’s politely resigned to keep the intersection open.
