Nextdoor CEO’s court date moved up a day

The scheduled court date for Nirav Tolia, the CEO of Nextdoor accused of felony hit-and-run in an accident near the airport last year, has been moved up a day, San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe said Thursday.

Tolia was scheduled to appear in court May 28 to face the charges in connection with an accident on Highway 101 near San Francisco International Airport in August 2013 where another driver spun out of control, damaging her car and breaking her hand. He also faces a civil suit in relation to the accident.

At the request of his defense attorney, Tolia's court date was moved up a day to May 27.

The case is scheduled for 9 a.m. at the Hall of Justice in Redwood City.

The civil suit can be seen below.
