Newsom’s competition looking to ramp up donations

Janice Hahn’s campaign knows that money talks.

“Team Hahn” on Tuesday announced that it has hired four new fundraisers to help boost donations for her lieutenant governor campaign.

Hahn has more than $500,000 cash in hand but she only managed to raised $100,000 between Jan. 1 and March 17.

Newsom has collected more than $267,000 since March 9, when he opened his committee campaign.

Clearly, Hahn was feeling the pressure.

“This addition to my team will ensure victory in June,” Hahn said.
