New Inner Sunset wine bar slated to fill vacant storefront

A wine bar is expected to secure city permits needed to open in a vacant Inner Sunset storefront.

City planning staff advised their commissioners to approve the opening of InnerFog in a storefront at Irving Street and 7th Avenue that formerly housed a clothing retailer.

Storefronts that were left empty in the wake of the late 2008 economic meltdown are gradually being occupied by new eateries and bars.

InnerFog would be licensed to seat 45 patrons in the ground floor of a four-story building, Planning Department documents show.
