Nev. Senate poll: Angle leads, Tarkanian strongest against Reid, Lowden weakest

Mason-Dixon’s latest poll, released yesterday, shows former assemblywoman Sharron Angle leading by 8 points in the GOP primary which will be held tomorrow. This is the third recent poll putting Angle in the lead.

Though previous polls had shown Angle faring worst among the top three Republican contenders, Angle is beating Reid by 3 points (44% to 41%), while Lowden is trailing Reid by 1 (41% to 42%). Danny Tarkanian, who has avoided being hit with negative attack ads while Lowden and Angle go after each other, is leading Reid by 7 points (46% to 39%).

Harry Reid’s unfavorable rating is a whopping 52 percent. For more on the race, see my writeup from Thursday.
