Neighbor threatens father with knife over loud kids

A Crocker Amazon man allegedly threatened his neighbor with a knife because “his kids and TV were too loud,” according to police at Ingleside Station.

The father called cops reporting that his knife-toting neighbor pounded on his door in the 5500 block of Mission Street around 9:15 a.m. Friday. The father told cops he shared a wall with his neighbor, who banged on the wall earlier in the morning.

The father went to the neighbor’s door to confront him about the wall banging. The suspect hollered about the noise the family had been making, police said.

The father explained his kids were just playing, but the suspect shouted obscenities, police said.

“Later in the day, the suspect pounded on the victim’s door and held what appeared to be a knife in his hand,” police said.

Instead of opening the door, the father called police. No arrest was reported.
