Nancy Pelosi slams cyber attacks against Change.org

United States House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has criticized the cyber attacks aimed at Change.org, a locally run website that recently espoused the cause of Ai WeiWei, a jailed Chinese dissident.

On Monday, Change.org reached out to the State Department and members of Congress, urging them to publicly condemn the attacks, which have crippled the organization’s website.

Representative Rosa DeLauro, D-Conn., has already asked the State Department to take an official stance against the attacks. On Wednesday, Pelosi issued a statement on her Twitter account in support of DeLauro’s sentiments.
