Muni to address rail shortcomings during special meeting

As you might have heard, state regulators are none-too-happy with the current condition and regulation of Muni rail operations.

While Muni has vociferously defended its operations to the California Public Utilities Commission, it has yet to formally present its case to the riders who use the system.

To address that, the agency will hold a special public meeting this Friday to provide an update on its effort to comply with state guidelines. The gathering will take place at 9 a.m. in Room 408 at City Hall.
