Muni service resumes after crash on M line

Regular San Francisco Municipal Railway service has resumed after a crash Friday morning involving a light rail vehicle in the city's Oceanview neighborhood, a spokesman said.

At around 6:25 a.m., an outbound train on the M-Ocean View line collided with a vehicle near 19th Avenue and Junipero Serra Boulevard, Muni spokesman Judson True said.

The crash injured the driver of the vehicle, according to True. He did not know the extent of the injuries.

Outbound service was blocked while the crash was cleared, and buses shuttled passengers between West Portal and Balboa Park.

Regular service resumed as of 7:45 a.m.
