Muni mechanical delays, collision on I-280 Thursday morning 

A no-injury collision occurred on northbound Interstate 280 just south of the Geneva Avenue offramp at 7:39 a.m., affecting at least one lane of traffic and causing delays.

Commuters in The City should expect heavy traffic and delays around the Moscone Center due to Oracle OpenWorld, which ends today.

The inbound L-Taraval line has service delays that started at 7:42 a.m. due to mechanical issues at 17th Avenue and Taraval Street. The inbound N-Judah line is experiencing residual delays from a mechanical issue at 28th Avenue and Judah Street at 7:23 a.m.

Muni lines 9-San Bruno and 19-Polk had longer than usual wait times as of 5:45 a.m.

A catering truck blocked traffic on southbound I-280 near U.S. Highway 101 at 8 a.m.

Cable Car service was down from California and Drumm streets to California Street and Van Ness Avenue at 8:23 a.m.
