Muni Ambassador program is on hold 

The Muni Ambassador program was created to address neighborhood outrage over crime on or near Muni lines in the southeastern neighborhoods, but the program’s funding – federal dollars from the Jobs Now! Program – has run out. The senate did not extend the stimulus funding. And the program ended on Sept. 30.

The City, however, is going to take the next week to analyze the data of the pilot program and propose a phase two pilot and details of how much it would cost.
