Multiple traffic collisions, BART delays Tuesday morning

A disabled vehicle on westbound Interstate 80 at the Bay Bridge metering lights blocked the fourth lane from the left at 6:56 a.m. Tuesday. And there was a collision on westbound I-80 just west of the Treasure Island onramp at 6:23 a.m.

A five-vehicle crash occurred on southbound Interstate 280 just south of Avalon Drive at 6:48 a.m.

A no-injury collision occurred on southbound U.S. Highway 101 near the San Bruno Avenue onramp at 7:12 a.m.

BART was recovering from an equipment problem that caused a 10- to 15-minute delay in downtown Oakland in the San Francisco International Airport and Millbrae directions at 5:54 a.m.

The Muni 14X-Mission Express had longer than usual wait times as of 6:06 a.m.

A hit-and-run with no injuries occurred on southbound Highway 101 near the offramp to the Cow Palace at 8:29 a.m.
