Multiple delays on highways, public transportation Tuesday

A collision occurred on northbound Interstate 280 just south of the San Jose Avenue offramp at 7:56 a.m. Tuesday. Another traffic collision with minor injuries occurred on northbound I-280 at the Geneva Avenue offramp at 7:51 a.m. Two sedans were involved in a collision on southbound I-280 just north of the Sneath Lane offramp at 7:25 a.m.

A collision on southbound U.S. Highway 101 just north of the Cesar Chavez Street offramp at 7:26 a.m. blocked the right shoulder, causing delays.

An animal-related hazard was reported on southbound I-280 just north of state Highway 1 at 7:25 a.m.

A hit-and-run with no injuries occurred on southbound Highway 101 on the Cow Palace offramp at 8:15 a.m.

The northbound Muni F-Market streetcar line was blocked at The Embarcadero and Washington Street at 7:11 a.m. due to an accident, and streetcars in the southbound direction were switching back near the Ferry Building. Shuttle buses provided supplemental service.

The Muni K-Ingleside line was delayed at the Kirwood/La Salle station at 7:52 a.m.

Muni lines 1-California, 5-Fulton, 14-Mission and 49-Mission/Van Ness had longer than usual wait times as of 6:35 a.m.

BART experienced a 15-minute delay on the Millbrae line in the Richmond and Millbrae directions due to an equipment problem at 7:26 a.m.
