Motorcyclist dies after crashing into disabled truck in Redwood City 

Westbound state Highway 92 in Redwood City was temporarily shut down Sunday afternoon after a motorcyclist hit a disabled truck, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

The crash happened just before 1 p.m., CHP Officer Scott Cakebread said. The motorcyclist died in the crash.

A Sig-alert was issued at about 1 p.m. One lane reopened at about 1:30 p.m., he said.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
