Mother and daughter carjacked at gunpoint in Tenderloin

A mother and daughter were carjacked at gunpoint by two men in the Tenderloin on Saturday evening, police said.

The 46-year-old mother was trying to enter a luxury car near Leavenworth Street and Golden Gate Avenue around 7 p.m. when a man knocked her out of the way. Another man then walked up to the woman’s daughter, who was sitting in the passenger seat, showed her a handgun and ordered her out of the car.

The thieves then drove away in the white Acura TL, heading eastbound on Leavenworth Street.

The women were uninjured during the carjacking.
