Morning stock check: Yahoo, Nvidia up 

A day after dropping in early trading, Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO) is up more than 7 percent, over $2 per share, this morning. The Santa Clara-based Nvidia Corp. (NVDA), a graphics processing company, is also trending up more than 4.5 percent in this morning.

Salesforce.com, Inc. (CRM), out of The City, is down more than 1.5 percent, or nearly $1 per share, this morning. Also dropping in share price this morning is Intuitive Surgical, Inc. (ISRG), a Sunnyvale company that makes surgical systems, which has dropped around 3 percent.

The local companies trading the most shares this morning are Intel Corp. (INTC) and Yahoo.

Overall, The Dow Jones Industrial Average Index is up but still shy of 14,000 points this morning.

In other stock news, Brazil Police have arrested Cisco Systems, Inc. (CSCO) executives on tax fraud and smuggling charges, according to CNNMoney.com. Also, eWeek is reporting that third-quarter profit for Yahoo fell 5 percent.
