More than 3,000 Bay Area PG&E customers still without power

More than 3,000 PG&E customers remained without power in the Bay Area on Friday morning due to weather-related outages throughout the region, a utility spokeswoman said.

As of 8:30 a.m., there were about 1,400 customers without power along the Peninsula, mostly in the areas of San Gregorio and Pescadero, PG&E spokeswoman Fiona Chan said.

There were also about 1,400 customers without power in the North Bay, particularly in the areas of Napa and Angwin, Chan said.

Outages in the East Bay had left more than 7,000 customers in the East Bay without power overnight, but that number had dwindled to about 100 by Friday morning, according to Chan.

There were also about 200 customers without power in the South Bay, she said.

There were no outages reported in San Francisco on Friday morning.
