Mission District shooting victim identified 

Forty-year-old Justin Lee was identified Wednesday by the San Francisco medical examiner’s office as the victim of a fatal shooting in the city’s Mission District on Monday night.

The shooting was reported at 11:35 p.m. and brought officers to the area of 26th and Mission streets, according to police.

A witness reportedly saw Lee being chased on foot by the suspect. Lee tripped and fell and was then shot several times by the suspect, according to police. The suspect reportedly fledon foot, and Lee was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

No arrests have been made and police are still investigating the case, according to the Police Department.
