Mission Bay chosen as an 'iHub'

San Francisco’s Mission Bay has been selected as an “iHub” designed to make The City a leader in innovation and jobs, according to the San Francisco Center for Economic Development.

The iHubs – short for innovation hubs – will target young companies that have been in business for no more than eight years and are anchored by a major university or research institution.

California’s Business, Transportation and Housing Agency recently selected The City and Mission Bay as an iHub.
