Missing man, 70, turns up at Marina Safeway

A 70-year-old man who was reported missing in San Francisco on Monday has been found safe, police said today.

Richard Seng disappeared from the 200 block of Shotwell Street in the city's Mission District at about 11:50 a.m.

Seng suffers from dementia, high blood pressure and diabetes, and police were concerned for his welfare.

Police said this morning that Seng turned up at the Marina Safeway on Monday night, apparently after having ridden buses around the city.

Employees were worried about his health and called paramedics, who took Seng to St. Mary's Hospital, police said. He was found to be in good condition and is now back home.
