MillerCoors banned from selling beer in Minnesota 

DIM BULB: There will be no more Miller Time in Minnesota until the government shutdown ends. MillerCoors — with 38 percent of the state market — must stop selling its beer because it couldn’t get the Public Safety Department to renew a three-year label registration before the July 1 budgetary standoff began. The big brewery’s first check was returned in mid-June because it was for too much money. Then, the state received a second check June 27, but didn’t cash it before the shutdown.
