Millbrae police looking for masked creep who assaulted jogger

Police are looking for a masked creep who sexually assaulted a jogger on Monday in Millbrae, according to San Mateo County Sherriff’s Office Deputy Rebecca Rosenblatt.

A 48-year-old woman was out for a job about 10 a.m. near the intersection of Murchison Drive and Valencia Avenue when an unknown male suspect ran up from behind her and pulled down her shorts, Rosenblatt said.

The suspect then immediately fled from the scene eastbound on Murchison Drive out of the victim’s view, Rosenblatt said.

The suspect was described as a man about 5-foot-9 and 180 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans, a heavy brown jacket and a burlap cloth over his head and face, Rosenblatt said.

Anyone with information on this suspect is encouraged to call the Sheriff’s Office at (650) 259-2300 or the anonymous tipline at (800) 547-2700.
