Metallica to play the Bridge School Benefit 

Neil and Pegi Young’s 21st Annual Bridge School Benefit this year features a lineup including Neil Young, Metallica, Jerry Lee Lewis, Eddie Vedder with Flea and Jack Irons, Tom Waits with the Kronos Quartet, John Mayer, Tegan & Sara and Regina Spektor. The concerts are at 5 p.m. Oct. 27 and 2 p.m. Oct. 28 at Shoreline Amphitheatre, 1 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View.

Tickets, which range from $39.50 to $150, go on sale at 10 a.m. Sunday at www.livenation.com, Ticketmaster outlets and by phone by calling (415) 421-8497. There is a two-ticket limit for reserved seats and an eight-ticket total purchase limit for these shows.
