Meeting to ensure treats, no tricks in S.F.

Residents and business owners looking to comment on The City's plan for Halloween Night should attend tonight's Police Commission meeting. The Police Department and other agencies will present plans to deal with the expected tens of thousands of people tricking and treating in The City.

The City has canceled this year's celebration in the Castro a year after a gunman wounded nine people and five years after four people were stabbed. Despite the cancellation large crowds are still expected.

The Police Commission meets tonight at 6 p.m. in Room 400 at City Hall.
