Mechanical problem resolved, N-Judah service resumes

A mechanical problem disrupted San Francisco Municipal Railway service on the N-Judah line for a little more than an hour this afternoon.

Muni spokeswoman Kristen Holland said the disruption began at about 2:30 p.m. when a problem was reported on a train at Ninth Avenue and Irving Street.

Bus shuttles were set up to accommodate riders between Carl Street and Hillway Avenue during the disruption.

The problem was cleared at 3:40 p.m. and normal service resumed.
