McCollum lifts Lehigh over Lafayette 90-76 

C.J. McCollum scored 26 points, including 12 straight in the second half as Lehigh pulled away from Lafayette en route to a 90-76 Patriot League win Sunday.

The Mountain Hawks (15-6, 3-2), coming off a 68-61 loss to Bucknell, have won three of their last four and matched last year's win total with nine games remaining.

There were 11 ties and 13 lead changes. After Lafayette led 39-37 at halftime, the game was knotted on four more occasions, the last time at 45-45 with 16:53 left.

McCollum then hit two free throws, a 3-pointer, a jumper, three free throws and, 31 seconds later, two more foul shots for a 57-49 Lehigh lead.

Gabe Knutson added 17 points for Lehigh, which outshot Lafayette 57.7 percent (30 of 52) to 49 percent (24 of 49).

Ryan Willen's17 points led Lafayette (8-12, 3-2), which had won three of its previous four games.
