Hundreds gathered at Civic Center Plaza in observance of Mayday Friday, also known as International Workers' Day. Those gathered rallied in celebration of the raise in San Francisco's minimum wage from $11.05 to $12.25. Many in attendance agreed the raise is not enough but a step in the right direction. The group then marched from Civic Center Plaza to The City's Mission District.
