Man’s jaw fractured in mid-Market robbery 

A man was blindsided and hospitalized in one of many robberies in The City overnight.

Seventh and Market streets
2 p.m. Monday

A 24-year-old man was blindsided by a punch in the head and robbed, police said. The crook fled with the victim’s wallet and cash. The victim sustained a broken jaw and was hospitalized.

McAllister and Octavia streets
8:40 p.m. Monday

A man, 28, was robbed by three thugs, police said. One of the crooks simulated a gun in his waistband and demanded the victim’s goods. The three fled.

24th and Mission streets
2:16 p.m. Monday

A 30-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint, police said. The gun-toting goon, described by cops as a man in his 20s, pointed the gun at the victim, yanked his gold chain off his neck and fled on foot.

200 block of Jefferson Street
12:45 a.m. Tuesday

A 55-year-old woman was robbed while sitting in her car, police said. A man in his 30s leaned into the car and put a sharp object against her side before taking her purse and fleeing on foot.
