Man walks up to drive-through window, robs business

There are drive-bys often in the crime news, but less heard of are walk-by crimes.

On Sunday at 5 a.m., however, a crook decided to rob a business by strolling up to the drive-through window of a business in the 200 block of Bayshore Boulevard, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

The suspect, described only as a black man in his 40s, reportedly drew a gun and pointed it at the victim, described as a Hispanic man in his 20s.

The victim coughed up the cash from the register, and the thief absconded from the scene on foot.

No arrests have been made in the case of the walk-through bandit.
