A man broke two windows and threw a Molotov cocktail into a house setting it on fire in Potrero Hill on Saturday, police said Tuesday.

The 55-year-old male suspect went to the 54-year-old female victim's residence in the 1700 block of 25th Street about 2:30 a.m. and threatened to burn the place down, police said. He then reportedly broke a window and left.

He returned a short while after and broke another window and then threw what police say was a Molotov cocktail through the broken window and the residence caught fire.

The Fire Department was able to extinguish the fire and the victim was able to get out of her residence. The victim was not injured.

There has been no arrest.
