Man suffers life-threatening injuries in Bayview shooting 

A man in his 20s was critically injured after being shot multiple times in the Bayview on Wednesday night, police said.

The shooting occurred at Third Street and Newcomb Avenue around 11:15 p.m.

The victim suffered life-threatening injuries after being shot multiple times in his abdomen. He was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, police said.

Police say a white, four-door Chevy Malibu was seen fleeing the scene and may have been involved. No arrests have been made and a description of the shooter was not immediately available, cops said.
