Man steals cameras from Lower Nob Hill store at gunpoint

A man stole cameras at gunpoint from a store in the Lower Nob Hill on Wednesday, police said.

The suspect, described as a man in his 20s, entered the store in the 800 block of Sutter Street about 3:30 p.m. and grabbed some cameras from the shelf, police said.

The 26-year-old male employee at the store was in the back at the time, police said, and when the suspect went to leave, he showed the victim a gun in his waistband and told him not to move before he fled the scene.

No arrest has been made.
