Police arrived to the scene on the 2900 block of 16th Street about 9:49 p.m. and found an unresponsive male, police Officer Albie Esparza said in a statement.

Medics responded and pronounced the 57-year-old victim deceased at the scene. Police reported early Tuesday that the victim had been stabbed.
