Man stabbed in cowardly attack among San Francisco crimes overnight 

A cowardly attack from behind leaves a man with stab wounds in the head and neck in the latest crime blotter buffoonery in San Francisco.

Davis and Jackson
Noon, Tuesday

A cowardly thug walked up behind a 38-year-old man and stabbed him in the neck and hand. A suspect was detained in the case. The victim’s injuries were not life threatening.

29th and San Jose
1:10 a.m., Wednesday

The crazed driver of a stolen vehicle caused an accident while fleeing Daly City cops, causing nonlife-threatening injuries to a woman in another car. The suspect was arrested after the crash.

Broadway and Taylor
6:15 p.m., Tuesday

A drunken creep apparently rang a 26-year-old woman’s doorbell. The victim didn’t find anyone at the door, but was surprised to learn the suspect, a man in his 20s, was in his home. The boozed-up man fled.

O’Farrell and Taylor
11:37 p.m., Tuesday

Two women, ages 41 and 27, struggled with a purse-snatcher. The suspect, a man in his 30s, smacked one of the victims with the purse before fleeing on foot. The purse was later recovered, but no arrest has been made.
