Man stabbed in Chinatown restaurant

A man was stabbed in a Chinatown restaurant early this morning, police said.

The 35-year-old victim heard a woman being assaulted inside the restaurant in the 600 block of Broadway about 4 a.m., police said.

He attempted to intervene on the woman’s behalf and was assaulted by five men, one of which stabbed him. The victim did not provide police with detailed descriptions of the suspects.

The victim was hospitalized for his injury, but it was not life-threatening, police said.

No arrests have been made.
