Man smoking at Richmond bus stop shoves 77-year-old woman to ground, causes broken arm 

A shady smoker reportedly assaulted a 77-year-old woman in the Richmond district Wednesday, breaking her arm.

The victim was in the 5300 block of Geary Boulevard waiting at a bus stop about 10 a.m. when she saw a man nearby who was smoking a cigarette, police said.

The two began arguing, police said, and the woman broke her arm after being shoved to the ground. The suspect then fled.
