Man slashed in arm in Financial District attack

A man was stabbed in the arm early Thursday morning in the Financial District, police said.

The 34-year-old man was at Sutter and Kearny streets just after midnight when a knife-wielding thug came up and stabbed him in the arm, cops said.

The suspect then jumped into a white or gray sedan driven by another man and fled. Police do not know the motive of the stabbing. Both suspects were described by police as being 19 to 20 years old.

The victim was treated at the hospital for his injuries, which were not life threatening.

No arrests have been made.
