Man shot twice in calf in SoMa 

A 20-year-old man was shot twice in the calf while hopping into a pal’s car in the South of Market district early Friday, police said.

The shooting occurred in the 1500 block of Folsom Street just before 2 a.m.

The victim heard gunshots when he got into the vehicle, realized two bullets hit him in his right calf, then was driven to San Francisco General Hospital, police said.

His injuries were not life threatening. There has been no arrest and there was no suspect description, police said.
