Man shot to death in Potrero Hill

A man was shot to death in Potrero Hill this morning, the second homicide in The City in less than 24 hours and the 13th of the year.

The shooting occurred at 25th and Connecticut streets about 9:58 a.m., police Officer Albie Esparza said. The victim is believed to be a man in his 30s.

He sustained several gunshot wounds to his upper body, Esparza said, and was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

As of Tuesday morning, police had no suspect description of the shooter.
