Man shot in leg, robbed of cellphone in San Francisco

A goon said “what up” before shooting a 36-year-old man in the leg in San Francisco on Thursday, seemingly just to steal his cellphone, police said.

The victim was walking in the area of 12th and Kissling streets, just north of the Central Freeway, around 2:30 a.m.

One thug shot him and another took his phone, police said.

The victim is being treated at San Francisco General Hospital for injuries that are not life threatening. The suspects fled on foot. There were no arrests as of Friday morning, police said.
