Man shot in arm in Western Addition 

A young man was injured in a shooting in the Western Addition on Tuesday, police said.

The 19-year-old victim had been walking down the street with friends in the 1100 block of Scott Street about 9:40 p.m. when gunfire rang out, police. The victim then realized he had been struck in the arm.

He was treated at the hospital for his injuries, which were not life-threatening.

No known suspect information was available as of Wednesday.
