Man shot after refusing to give up his car

Thugs shot a 20-year-old man who refused to be carjacked Sunday — then fled without the car, police said.

The victim took a bullet to the shoulder during the failed carjacking in the 200 block of Harbor Road around 11 p.m., police said.

He was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Two suspects, described as black men in their 20s, fled the crime scene on foot after the victim stood his ground, police said.

There have been no arrests, police said.

Further information was not immediately available.
