Man hit with stun gun in Tenderloin robbery

A man was shocked with a stun gun and robbed of his goods in the Tenderloin early Sunday morning, police said Monday.

The 34-year-old victim was in the area of Turk and Jones streets about 3:34 a.m. when a woman approached him and asked if he wanted to rent a hotel room, police said. Then three male suspects appeared and demanded the man's money.

One of the suspects shocked the victim with a stun gun while the other two went through his pockets and stole cash, credit cards and a smartphone before fleeing the scene.

The victim complained of minor injuries but refused treatment.
