Man scratches off $1 million winning ticket in San Bruno

Raymond Bazouzi, a 49-year-old Bay Area deli owner, is California’s newest $1 million instant winner after he bought a $5 “Millions in Cash” Scratchers ticket at a San Bruno store.

Bazouzi buys a Scratchers ticket almost every day, and until now always came out empty-handed, lottery officials said. His dream of paying off his house and taking a trip to Las Vegas can now become a reality.

The winning ticket was bought at the 7-Eleven store at 2100 Crestmoor Drive.

Twelve of the 25 instant $1 million prizes are still up for grabs.
