Man robbed, shot at in Western Addition 

A man was robbed and fired upon in the Western Addition on Tuesday, police said.

The 55-year-old victim had reportedly been drinking with the suspect near Eddy and Pierce streets about 7 p.m. when they began to argue, police said.

The suspect, who appeared to be in his 20s, punched the victim in the mouth and took his backpack.

As the victim went to walk away, the suspect fired a gun at him, police said.

The victim was not struck by gunfire and only sustained a bloody mouth in the robbery. He refused medical treatment at the scene.

No arrest has been made.
