A 75-year-old man was robbed at knifepoint inside his own apartment in the Tenderloin on Thursday by someone he knew, police said.

The victim reportedly invited the suspect into his apartment in the 400 block of Turk Street about 10 p.m. because he knew him, police said.

The suspect, described as a man in his 40s, grabbed a kitchen knife and held it to the victim's neck and demanded money. The crook took the victim's money from his wallet and fled. No arrest was made.
