Man punched, robbed as he was counting cash in Mid-Market area 

A man was punched in the face and robbed of the cash he was counting in Mid-Market on Tuesday, police said.

The 51-year-old man was standing in front of a building in the first block of Sixth Street counting his money about 11:30 p.m. when an unknown suspect came up and punched him in the face, police said.

The victim dropped his wallet and cash and the suspect picked them up and fled. No arrest was made.
