Man killed in shooting in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights on Monday 

A 28-year-old man was fatally shot in the head in a Bernal Heights home Monday night, police said.

The victim, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead on arrival at the home in the 400 block of Franconia Street. The shooting was reported around 9:40 p.m., police said.

The shooter fled the residence on foot. A suspect was seen running into a house on nearby Holladay Avenue. Police later took him into custody.
