A man was jumped by three thugs in the Tenderloin on Tuesday, police said.

The 28-year-old victim was in the 200 block of Jones Street about 11:45 p.m. when he was jumped. One of the suspects choked the victim with a chain while the other two goons punched the victim numerous times.
